My research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cell migration. The processes of leukocyte extravasation and tumour cell metastasis share many common mechanisms. We are particularly interested in the regulation of cytoskeletal shape during the migratory process and the structural proteins and enzymes which regulate this.  We have also investigated the role of the Protein Kinase C family of enzymes in T cell  migration and in cancer cell responses to bile acid signaling (colon and oesophageal).
